Where elite snooker coaching meets modern sports science. I'm a WPBSA-accredited coach fully DBS-cleared to work with adults and children. I'm also an experienced player of century break standard with considerable success over the years in my local area of East Lancashire. As a teenager, I was coached by the legendary Frank Callan and his methods are still relevant today.
I offer straightforward, practical coaching, largely based on the WPBSA's White to Black coaching framework, suitable for all levels and maximising clients' time on the table. I don't believe in change for change's sake, but through repeatable drills we will explore your current skill level and quickly identify simple adjustments. By focusing on results, I will be able to measure your progress and demonstrate how your game is improving.

I offer private tuition on a 1-1 basis, which can either be solo or in small groups, covering one , two or three-hour sessions. I can come to your own club, and I also have arrangements at King's Snooker Club in Blackburn and Elite Snooker Club, Lostock Hall. Coaching sessions are informal and approachable, yet designed to challenge you and deliver measurable results.
My prices start at £25 per hour for adults, with discounts for longer sessions, group bookings, juniors and block bookings. I can be flexible with timings - both afternoon and evening options are available. To find out more, take a look at the coaching methods and pricing options on this site.

Whatever your current skill level, there's opportunities to go deeper and accelerate your progress via data analytics. I take care of the complicated stuff, whilst providing a report after each session explaining where your game is at and how you're improving.
For better players, I use data-driven methods to drive improvement. We'll work together to set focused, stretching yet attainable goals, and review progress regularly. I'll work you hard, but the results will justify the effort.
Whether you're picking up a cue for the first time or have years of experience and look to progress to the next level, Cueology's methods help players of all levels reach their full potential.

Working in partnership with King's Snooker Club, Blackburn, I run a weekly Junior Snooker Academy every Saturday morning where I serve as lead coach alongside my fellow WPBSA-accredited experts, Annette and Aamir. The Academy is open to all under-18s, with no minimum age limit.

Our mission is simple: to help young players of all abilities have fun. Our approach helps them fall in love with the game while swiftly developing their skills. We award certificates based on progress and there's an optional monthly competition too. Check out my Junior_Academy page to find out more.
I'm very proud of the coaching and support I offer and I do my best to offer a quality product. There is of course so much more that happens behind the scenes that clients don't see.
